The Ranmal Rest - View from the beach
All rooms/cabanas have ceiling fans and mosquito nets.
The Cabanas, the Family Suite and all Category A rooms have running warm water and a mini fridge. The Family Suite and Category A rooms also have television sets.

The standard of these wooden huts on stilts is comparable to that of good hotel rooms. The living area features two comfortable beds, various cupboards and shelves, a dressing table with a mirror, two chairs and a small table. The separate bathroom is fully tiled and is furnished to western standards with a shower unit, toilet, wash hand basin and numerous accessories. Warn and cold running water. From the roofed terrace - furnished with two comfortable chairs and a small rattan table - you have a magnificent view over the ocean and the beach.

Family Suite     1 Suite

Ideal accommodation for the entire family. There’s plenty of space for two adults and two children. On one side of the spacious suite is a comfortable double bed for the parents; the kids sleep on the other side in a double bed; both beds have mosquito nets. In the evenings, the parents can enjoy the tropical temperatures and the magnificent view of the sea from the large balcony while their children sleep safe under mosquito nets inside. Each family suite is furnished with a desk, several chairs, table, a bench, a large mirror, wardrobe, fridge and air conditioning system. The stylish ensuite bathroom has a shower, mirror cupboard and a basin. The balcony is furnished with comfortable cane furniture.

Category A 1     3 rooms

Very comfortable rooms with exceptionally tasteful furniture. These spacious rooms have a comfortable double bed with sprung mattress, a dressing table with mirror and a recessed desk, chairs, a colonial style wardrobe. At the beginning of the winter season 2005/2006 each room will also be fitted with a fridge. The rooms have stylish ensuite bathrooms with a shower, mirror cupboard and a basin. The balcony, furnished with comfortable cane furniture, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the Indian ocean.

Category A 2      4 rooms

Comfortable rooms of a standard comparable to good hotel rooms. The floors are completely tiled. The main room is furnished with two comfortable beds with storage space, a spacious wardrobe, mirror with dressing table, a desk and two chairs. The ensuite bathroom has a small bathtub, shower, basin, mirror and a toilet. Each room has access to a terrace where two cane chairs and a table invite you to relax.

These tastefully furnished rooms are located on the first floor of our new annex. Each room has air conditioning; the carefully coordinated furnishings create a stylish, cosy atmosphere. All rooms have a double bed, a large mirror and recessed desk, chairs and a table. The bathrooms, all with showers, have been decorated in different colours. The balconies, each furnished with colonial style furniture, are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent view of the wide beach and the Indian ocean.

The rooms located on the ground floor, which were completed destroyed by the tsunami, have been completely rebuilt and refurnished. Each of these rooms has a tiled floor, air conditioning and two single beds, which can be moved as required. A solid wood wardrobe and mirror recess in the living area creates a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The separate ensuite bathroom has a shower, mirror cupboard and basin. Each room has a small terrace furnished with comfortable chairs   the perfect place to relax and unwind.


Category B2 rooms

After the tsunami we rebuilt the former Category C rooms on the ground floor and improved standards. Together with three rooms on the first floor, these rooms are now Category B2: each room has two single beds, a recessed wardrobe, a recessed desk with a chair, a large dressing table with a mirror and drawers. Each room has its own tiled ensuite bathroom with a shower, basin and shelf. Each balcony or terrace is furnished with comfortable chairs. These simple, welcoming rooms are perfect for budget travellers who do not want to compromise on comfort.
