Hikkaduwa

Hikkaduwa has quite a number of attractions to offer. It is renowned as a good surf point and for its coral gardens. If you want to learn how to surf, this is good place.

Also, many diving stations offer their services for beginners and experienced divers. Alternatively, if you don’t want to go so deep, try snorkelling around the enchanting coral gardens instead.

As everywhere in Sri Lanka, there are numerous attractive temples to view.

Make sure you don’t miss the "Sunday Market", which is held near the bus station.
